Square D QO120 20 Amp Single-Pole Circuit Breaker, QO Plug-On 120/240V

The Square D QO120 by Schneider Electric is a 20 Amp, 1-pole, 120/240VAC plug-on circuit breaker for Square D QO load centers. It gives your branch circuits reliable thermal-magnetic protection against overloads and short circuits, and it's the go-to 20A breaker for kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and garage receptacle circuits in homes with a QO panel.

Size

3/4" wide, 3" tall, and 2 15/16" deep. It takes one space in the panel, the same as any standard QO 1-pole breaker.

Uses

Kitchen countertop receptacles, bathroom circuits, laundry rooms, garages, dishwashers, disposals, microwaves, and other 20A, 120V branch circuits wired with 12 AWG copper.

Most Common Use

Kitchen and bathroom receptacle circuits, which the NEC requires to be 20A, or replacing a worn or faulty 20A breaker in a Square D QO load center.

Important: A 20A breaker must be used with 12 AWG copper wire or larger. Never install a 20A breaker on a circuit wired with 14 AWG wire.

Compatibility: This breaker fits Square D QO load centers and NQ/NQOD panelboards. It does not fit Square D Homeline panels or panels from other brands. Check the label inside your panel door before ordering. If you're unsure, send us a photo of your panel label and we'll help you confirm the fit.
