The Leviton LB230-G is a brand new 30 Amp, 2-pole, 120/240V GFCI circuit breaker for Leviton load centers. It gives you Class A ground-fault protection against electric shock right at the panel, plus hydraulic-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection, for 240V circuits like hot tubs, spas, dryers, and outdoor equipment.

Shock Protection Right at the Panel

Some 240V circuits need GFCI protection, and the breaker is the easiest place to put it. One device protects the whole circuit, with no separate GFCI device out in the field. Clean, simple, and up to code.

All Plug-On: No Pigtails, No Breaker Wiring

Leviton's all plug-on design means the circuit wires land on the load center, not on the breaker. The breaker simply plugs in, and the whole panel can be wired at rough-in before any breakers are installed.

Clear Trip Indication

The GF LED shows when a ground fault tripped the breaker and stays lit after the trip, so you know exactly what happened. Leviton's patented reset lockout keeps the breaker from resetting if ground-fault protection has been compromised.

Size

It takes 2 spaces in a Leviton load center.

Uses

Hot tubs and spas, dryer receptacles in laundry areas, outdoor A/C condensers, pool and well pumps, and 240V garage or shop receptacles, wherever GFCI protection is required by your local code. Wired with 10 AWG copper or larger.

Most Common Use

Hot tub, spa, and 240V outdoor circuits in homes with a Leviton load center. Requirements vary by local code.

Important: A 30A breaker must be used with 10 AWG copper wire or larger. Never install a 30A breaker on a circuit wired with 12 or 14 AWG wire.

Compatibility: This breaker is designed for Leviton load centers only. It does not fit Square D, Eaton, Siemens, GE, or other brands' panels. Check the label inside your panel door before ordering. If you're unsure, send us a photo of your panel label and we'll help you confirm the fit.
