The Leviton GFTR2-W is a SmartlockPro® Slim self-testing, tamper-resistant duplex GFCI receptacle, rated 20 Amp, 125 Volt, in white. Its reduced-depth design makes it easier to install in any electrical box, even shallow ones, and its automatic self-test keeps checking that your circuit is still protected, so you never have to guess.

It Tests Itself

The GFTR2-W runs an automatic self-test periodically and tests itself within 3 seconds of power-up. Its patented Lockout feature prevents reset if the GFCI is damaged or miswired, and the status indicator light shows power and protection at a glance, including line/load reversal.

This is a residential/commercial specification-grade device, a GFCI electricians install in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, garages, restaurant kitchens, and commercial restrooms. The 20A outlet face (NEMA 5-20R) accepts both 15A and 20A plugs, and the 20A feed-through rating lets you protect other outlets downstream by wiring them to the LOAD terminals.

Size

About 4 3/16" tall, 1 11/16" wide, and about 1 3/8" deep. It fits a standard single-gang electrical box and takes a standard decorator (Decora-style) wall plate.
